Heat Exchangers

All product contact surfaces have a maximum surface finish of 20μin (0.5μm) Ra, and can be improved to 15μin (0.4μm) Ra or better with optional electropolishing. Available with single tubesheet or double tubesheet to eliminate risk of cross-contamination between the product and working fluids.

Performance Features:
Heat transfer rates to 5,000,000 BTU/hr (1465kW)
Liquid Flows to “250 GPM (946 LPM)
Pressures up to 1,500 psi (104 bar)

Material Options:
316L SS, Hastelloy®, Inconel®, Titanium and other alloys

HSC20

The HSC20 heat exchanger utilises a continuous length of seamless tube through which the process medium flows. The inner tube terminates in a 1/2″ ASME BPE clamp connection, with the heat transfer medium passing through the mounting boss fittings. The HSC20 is also suitable for applications where the heating medium is steam.

Size Range Four sizes of HSC20 are available based on capacity requirements
Sample medium connections – 1/4 – 1″ ASME BPE compliant clamp
Process medium connections – 1/2″ – 1″ NPT or 3/4″ & 1″ ASME BPE compliant clamp
Material 316L stainless steel
Options Units with threaded connections on all ports

Sanitary Miniature Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers

Exergy sanitary shell and tube heat exchangers are designed to meet the high quality requirements and hygienic standards of the pharmaceutical industry. All product contact surfaces have a maximum surface finish of 20in (0.5m) Ra, and can be improved to 15in (0.4m) Ra or better with optional electropolishing. Available with single tubesheet or double tubesheet to eliminate risk of cross-contamination between the product and working fluids.
