Staitech was recently asked by a client to manufacture 2 custom parts for a pharmaceutical facility in the UK: The first a sight glass which was to be fitted to the side of a mixing tank to allow for convenient level measuring by the user. It is a standard Staitech manufactured HSG04 sight glass in 316L stainless steel, but with an extended 500mm Borocilicate glass viewing window.
For the sceond application the customer required an actuated valve to the base of the tank, but a due to space contraits this wouldn’t have been possible with the standard supplied stem. The solution was to 
fabricate an extended stem that allowed the actuator to clear the tank underside.
